Yeongmi Jeong is an applied microeconomist with a particular interest in health economics and sociogenomics. Her current research focuses on utilizing recent advances in genomics to investigate the relationships between individuals' genetic markers and health and economic outcomes, with a specific emphasis on Alzheimer’s Disease, smoking, and depression. She intends to broaden her research portfolio to examine the effects of public health policies, particularly those related to tobacco control and substance use.
